Hunter Writers Centre offers creative writing workshops for school students Years 5-12

We offer either formal HSC Extension English workshops examining setting, dialogue, character development and voice
or
informal buzz writing sessions focusing on increasing students' confidence in literacy and the enjoyment of written expression.

Hunter Writers Centre supports the National Young Writers Festival held each year in Newcastle.
